Where craft becomes a calmer kind of joy
Hobby On The Go is a hobby and craft workshop studio in Goregaon West, Mumbai, run by Bhakti Shah. We make room for people to put down the day, pick up a few materials, and rediscover how good it feels to simply create.
How it started
A studio built around Bhakti's belief in making
Hobby On The Go grew out of a simple observation: most of us spend our days on screens and to-do lists, and almost none of it on the quiet, tactile pleasure of making something by hand. Bhakti Shah started HOTG to hand that feeling back to people.
What began as small gatherings has become a warm creative studio in Goregaon West, where friends, families, colleagues, and complete strangers sit down together, get their hands a little messy, and walk away with something they made themselves.
Every workshop is designed to be approachable, unhurried, and genuinely fun — the kind of afternoon you leave feeling a little more like yourself.

This isn't therapy, and we never pretend to be. It is a mindful creative experience — a gentle way to de-stress through colour, texture, and focus that leaves you lighter than you arrived.
Beginners are the point
Never held a brush, tied a knot, or poured resin? Perfect. Our workshops are built for absolute beginners, so you can start from zero and still leave with something you are proud of.
Experienced facilitators
Our facilitators have guided hundreds of hands through their first creation. They read the room, meet you where you are, and make sure everyone finishes feeling capable.
We come to you
Prefer to create on home ground? Our mobile workshops travel to your venue — living rooms, offices, cafés, celebrations — bringing every material and a whole lot of warmth along.

We are careful about the words we use. HOTG is not a substitute for therapy or professional care. What we offer is a mindful creative experience: time set aside to focus on colour and texture, to let your shoulders drop, and to de-stress through the simple rhythm of making. Many people find that is exactly the reset they needed.

True to our name, Hobby On The Go is built to travel. For birthdays, team offsites, get-togethers, or a cosy evening at home, we pack up every material, tool, and bit of guidance and set up wherever you are.
